Prime stable at 2700 (300x9) on stock voltage and stock air cooler on a MSI K8 Neo 2.
Where is it from?
my week 47 3200 wouldnt do 2.55 at any voltage.
2.7ghz...stock...everything......dang thats nice. These newer Winchesters just keep getting faster and faster...:D

If you had tccd ram and a good ondie controller, 270x10 would really fly! I should get one of those if my 3000+ has a crappy ondie controller and venice doesnt come soon or cheap enough ill just get a 3200+ then
ugh..my week 44 3200..really sucks then...2550 and requires 1.55v idle/1.58v load..
man I never get lucky when I buy a cpu hoping to overclock
thats not so bad, mine does 2.6GHz at 1.52v but more volts dont help and it doesnt go higher. Its an older week so I guess I did luck out, yours is probably average but not bad
haha I know the feeling!Quote:

You've gone through 6 NEW winnies?
Haha yes, 2 x 3500's (just too expensive), 3 x 3200's, 1 x 3000's. I have 1 3000+ in here and one of the 3200s in my wifes PC. Sold the rest and one 3500+ was RMA'd for not Priming stable at stock.Quote:

I got it with the mobo from Monarch. I bought the retail cpu. I havent even bothered going higher yet as my gskill isnt here yet and i havent put on water yet. I may just leave it on the stock heatsink as I'm happy with 2.7
if your winchester is a 3200+, would it not be x10 (not x9)?Quote:

By new I meant after week 41. List the weeks of the chips you went through, will ya?
Hmmm - when you say the didn't OC worth a sh1T - can you tell me what you mean? Like they won't hit 2.5? 2.6?Quote:

I went 300x9 becuase my corsair xls cannot really run over 200. By using 300 FSB I can run my mem at 200. BTW, 280x10 wasnt stable on stock voltage.
Can you do a superpi run on 9x300 plz?Quote:

Nice chip...
With dc and small oc on mem u should get like ~ 30-31s.
if i rma because dont oc's nothing, but getting an excuse that isnt stable at stock speeds, will they trade for a new one??Quote:
