This FX-55 has to be good, it simply just can't be anything but that. Pi M32 was done for stability - I browsed, heard music, and did alot of other testing while it was done :banana4:
Pictures does indeed speak more than words. My first Pi M1 29s, it crunched my 3700+ @ 12 x 245mhz CL2.2.2.5 T1(only does 30s) :eek:
No tweaks at all. Fresh installed OS, not even removed "remote support" or anything like that, so I think this rocks :)

I've just placed an order for a 55 myself this evening. I can't wait :banana: .
can I ask what kind of cooling? :)
Mine is like 291x10 for stock air cooling super stable for 1.50v. :)

I use Vapo LS cooling. There is a chance I can do it with the stock Air cooler.
I used the DFI NF3 drivers for everything, but the ethernet driver + F4 Bios update and it made alot of difference. Before this, I could bench Pi M1 at 14.5 x 200mhz @ 1.5v or 15 x 200mhz @ 1.65v with - stock aircooler, but couldn't get over 3.07ghz with Vapo LS(no matter voltage or settings).

They are all high voltage RAM, just my like own. Mine can +240mhz CL2 2 2 5 T1 @ 3.5v, but that doesn't help me much when this booster just doesn't work as it should. VX still in their way, so I not missing out on the RAM part itself, but vdimm :)Quote:

All in all any fx55 will/should do 2.8ghz with stock cooling and 1.55v and that in itself is nice.. The extra clock cycles we get thats just a bonus. :)

Finally got the Booster to work, only tested SC for now. 3800mb/s in SiS with below timings/speed. Shouldn't that double with DC?
Fed the RAM 3.7v and for the first time I could do 250mhz CL2 2 2 T1 :D
12 x 250mhz CL2 2 2 T1 1:1 - 1.5v - Pi M1 stable. Will feed the CPU more voltage now, as now I can see what it can do :)
A luky FX55 have to bench under Mach/Vapo at list at 3.300Mzr.
I saw even 3.350.

i'm not quite sure i'd pay $400 extra for an fx that does ~3.55 @ -62. as mentioned above, a lucky fx will do 3.4-5 on unmodded vapo/mach2. dumo here on our forums does 3.38 on vapo. i've had 2 fx, 1 did 3.12 prime stable, working on my 2nd fx which does 3.25 benchable.
LOL, 3350mhz-3450mhz for the guys at the top is huge. Its like going from a x800p to a x800xt pe for them ;)
How many fx55's have you seen bench at 3500mhz-3550mhz without cascade/ln2?? Not SShots bench fully any app???
I bet you don't find one anywhere, well yeah here my chip.
3400mhz is the highest stable for 3d and 2d short apps you will ever see on a modded singlestage cooler and that is with the intake cooled by ducted arir so in fact becasue you condense the air below room temp to the intake its kinda a 2 stage unit ;).. from 3400 to 3500-3575mhz is a huge gain in core speed and 1 out of every 20-25 fx-55's can do that without cascade/ln2..
There are ok fx55's good fx-55's and rare godly fx-55 you can not classify these the same It jsut doesnt work like that. :)
you're not on a stock vapo/mach2 if you're running -62 are you? most of the fx55 overclock's i'm comparing to are at load -41. that's my only point. show me a a bunch of benchies and screenies of fx's at -62 and i'd better appreciate how special one that does 3.5 at -62. here's a start for your search for 3.4 on stock single stage phase, http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=48364.
hehe yeah Ive read all of those and with a load base temp of -62 I think we are not talking about phasechange, cascade, or ln2 here..
yeah In the same rig as this 3584mhz chip I tried a 0441 it hit a wall at 3426mhz so there are steps of quality in these fx55's all are good some are better than the next, but to get the golden chip is rare.. Even Opp, Pc.Ice and others need to try a few chips to get a great one.. If all goes well Ill have the cascade guy who bought that chip post tommorow here. :)
