Everest memory tests
I just installed this everest benchmark thats a bit like sandra.
You can get it here
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
I was interested to see what you guys get in the memory bench.
My 2X256mb Bh5 @ 250mhz 2,2,2,2 gets as follows.
Read = 3908
Write = 1690
Latency = 36.9
Im mostly interested in the latency figure (as im running tight timings)
This is all on DFI UT 754.
If other people can post there specs and results it might be interesting.
-
i get around 4300MB @282MHz 2.5-3-3-7 read. (Gskill TCCD)
Latency = 40.2
-
Everest (Aida before) is quite popular in Poland due to giving more accurate info than Sandra.
I @274MHz have 4233/1821/35.1.
-
4964 read, didn't bother to try the other 2 tests, will do when i oc next time.
See this thread:

Winchester 3200+ @ 280x9 2'5-3-3 1T (Geil Ultra X) ->8049MB/s on a MSI Neo 2.
-
Jesus, that's some nice bandwidth for only 280 and timings like that. Good stuff man :toast:
-
I know... my FX at same config "only" got 7500-7600MB/s.
With that winchie i got 8383Mb/s at 295 2'5-3-3 1T, but it freezed after do the test, so i only have a digital camera screenshot :D
-
Wow. How did you manage that huge increase?
-
Holy macaroons, Batman! That's over 60 more posts from cuddles in less than 12 hours. :lol: Sorry, man. I just couldn't help but notice.

Haha, I told you guys, I work 10 hours a day and do tech support, so all I do is browse. I try not to spam, I think I make relevant posts and comments, I just have a lot of time to spare while working :)
I've only been posting for 4 days, since it took 6 or more to get my account 'verified' ;)
Actual post count is like 57 or something. But shhhh, keep it on the down low :p:
-
If your trying not to spam , why dont you post any benchmark results.
I was interested in the latency test guys, epecially for those of you running dual channel memory systems.
-
I'll edit this post with my results when I get home (tomorrow), I promise. Didn't mean to derail your thread. <3

2 x 512 BH6 @ 250 x10 2-2-2-10 and it gives me:-
Read = 3865
Write = 1537
Latency = 39.5ns
Specs as per sig.
Dropping TRas to 6 gave me
Read = 3880
Write = 1688
Latency = 39.6
I get better 3dmark scores when Tras is set to 10 though.

7709 MB/s Read
2552 MB/s Write
40.5 Latency
The benchmarking part of this program works fine. When I do a system summary I get a blue screen. Is this normal?

MMMM..... interesting....goes to d/l

Its a good benchmark.. I really like using it.. Its tests latency well, something that sandra doesnt, which is the main reason i use it
-
There are some big differences on the latency side of things.
Rapra being best as he has high speed and low timings.
-
Heres some stuff I posted in the VX thread. CPU speed helps big time latency wise for everest. Also a pic of the best latency I was able to achieve in Everest after some tweaking with A64 tweaker, though I imagine I could get it down even farther with more playing possibly.
9x250.82mhz / 3.30v / 1:1 / 1T / 2800+ Clawhammer / DFI Lanparty-UT 10/15 4.0vdimm with OCZ Memtest 1.00 / 2x512 OCZ Voltage Extreme
Everest Read / write / latency
1.5-2-2-0 --- 3816 / 1432 / 41.4
1.5-2-2-5 --- 3824 / 1436 / 42.3
1.5-2-2-10 -- 3818 / 1437 / 42.3
2-2-2-0 ----- 3847 / 1575 / 41.5
2-2-2-5 ----- 3848 / 1579 / 41.6
2-2-2-10 ---- 3846 / 1576 / 41.5
2.5-2-2-0 --- 3824 / 1454 / 42.8
2.5-2-2-5 --- 3821 / 1442 / 42.8
2.5-2-2-10 -- 3815 / 1442 / 42.8
3-2-2-0 ----- 3797 / 1424 / 46.3
3-2-2-5 ----- 3804 / 1408 / 46.4
3-2-2-10 ---- 3809 / 1400 / 46.3
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...chmentid=20252
and fastest I could get at 200mhz with 1.8ghz CPU:

on 280x8, read 4200 or so write 1400 or so and latency 41
-
i like everest... but i think it needs more than just RAM Benchmarks..

Zeus,
Nice latency there.
What's are timings for that latency?
