Great stuff, hope they release a nice new version rather than flogging just the old MACH2s though :p.
IIRC they were the ones who designed and made the prommys all along, nventiv was just the marketer and distributor
i could be wrong tho
freekin sweet! This is good news for people who shelled out the coin for a mach, a place where you can still buy factory cpu kits and seal string and i see that they are even still working on new socket kits for the 775. And yes i know you can make your own socket kits but it's still nice to know that you can buy them if you like :)

These guys are elcold. They've just setup a new company face and name to market the Prommi under.
www.extremeprometeia.com is still main euro distributor, extremecoolingtechnologies.com = Elcold (manufacturer)
Just got a new MachII GT yesterday from Hardwaregods same place I got my MachI from two years ago. I think it's great that Promethea is back in action. Have always liked Prometeias condensation prevention best.
Now I cant wait to hook this baby up :) No time until tomorrow night though:
Damn...I knew that...just talked to phil but the names are so similar that I thought he posted extremeprometeia....sigh....need to slow down and actually read it...my bad, sorry dude. I even turned the post in for our front page about the relaunch yesterday for Phil....guess I should have read it first huh? :D You got me again marci...becoming a fulltime job!Quote:

ECT is entirely owned by a much larger and very well established company this time rather than a couple guys borrowing money from EU to start up a company. Also, it is easy to do things right when you've got hindsight.
How true. Glad to see some competition back in the market it can only make it better for the consumer, and also means people with Mach2s can get socket kits etc.Quote:
