Any suggestion?
looks very promising, but how about adding some 'sexy' heat-spreaders for the GSkill RAM?! :D :D :D
BTW, it would be nice to see some DDR600 though
heatspreaders actually make the RAM more warm. You can overclock a little more without them.
if there's one thing i noticed about these tccd chips, they do not get very hot. They just feel warm. To add a heatspreader to the gskill might be a waste and plus they would have to up their prices to accommodate the changeQuote:

nice tests, ill be picking up some G.Skil mem soon :D
Jesus, that's amazing bandwidth for $250 memory. GSkill low budget DDR doing better than other high end DDR? Is that TCCD on the GSkill budget DDR?
And where did you get it?
so the ocz scores 40mb/s worse at DDR500 even though its running with the same timings? hmmm interesting!
the gskill is tccd right? and the ocz is hynix i guess? hmmmm
but this was not an average stick of gskill, right? it was an enginerring/review sample, right? or is it a regular retail pack?

F1-3200dsu2-1gbld ?
Edit: That leads to another question, what's the difference between the 1GBLD, 1GBLC and 1GBLE other than price? All use TCCD...
Edit #2: I noticed it is 1GBLD from one of your pics...
wow thats amazing , Let me post a comparison of OCZ to GSkill of my own LOL
Note: As you can see , its nice that you come in and post what your companies product can do here , in fact I do it all the time.
but comparing it to your competitors , well that might be a little to biased
Then again , I might be wrong , In which case I better get to benchmarking
no, i think your right ryan. 1pagebook, i think your going a bit too far advertising your memory :/

I do apologize for all you guys feel that way. :(
Thanks for the benchmarks and I must agree with others as this is crossing the line into marketing/advertising.
I feel that one of this sites appeal is the lack of adverts and banners. I suggest contacting the top benchmarkers found here and offering memory samples for them to bench with. if your product is best of show they will sport the product name in the benchmark submissions. This is standard procedure.
I will allow the benchmarks but any further marketing will be frowned upon. I need to be fair to the other memory manufacturers and keep the site clean.
Nice results..
damzn that 3500+ 90nm is that 3GHz @1.5v :slobber:
Well...I tested OCZ and Gskill and not being biased in anyway :p the OCZ did better...LOL;),It all depends on how you tweak it :banana4: , with 3-4-3-10 1T doing 294fsb or so with the OCZ modules and the Gskill not fairing quite as well.I also see a lot of benches with 256 modules Vs 512 which is always biased to the 256's as they create less load.
Its ok posting benchmarks but only post your own and leave the reviews to reviewers ;).
well its nice to have you guys post some sick numbers and cool ocs advertising your new lines of memory, but lets not go down to the "mine is better than theirs" level.
as you said tony, thats best to be decided by reviewers and end users. :)
LOL... Send Saaya some ram please!!!!!! We *need* some quality posts from him.
I'm sure he would love a new kit to go with his new mb/cpu combo whenever he gets it.
LOL
i feel honored :D thx :)
each company is going to put forth the best it can
frankly ive found some of bigtoe, and ryans posts to be verging on advertisements
im glad you guys want to address that. im fine with people displaying their product, but let the reviewers do the reviewing ;)
The pics seem to be down...
I'm reviewing G. Skill now and hopefully will have my cpu issues sorted out soon. Seems my 3200+ 939 chip doesn't like 1T over 260mhz and my FX starts to get flakey at 1T over 270-280mhz. I can attest the G.Skill I was sent can run up to 280mhz fine with only problems being my own limitations. I feel the ram could probably go 285. this is at 2.65v and timings of 2.5 3:3:7.
Also, I do feel that posting comparisons to competitors ram is going to be frowned upon. Too much incentive to bias results, either intentionally or unintentionally.
I am hoping to review the 3700 Platinum if Ryan or OCZ would be kind enough to send me a kit. However, that is beyond my control.
I have purchased Opp's FX53 so I hope to resolve my bottleneck shortly and be back to high end benching soon.
more interesting comparison done on same MSI Neo2 s939 board at http://www.anandtech.com/memory/show...px?i=2235&p=20 and http://www.anandtech.com/memory/show...px?i=2235&p=19
