yeah, its simple and will prob cost u like 20 bucks, get two peices of plexi glass, drill in the appropriate holes, get those long screws and the hand adjustable nuts(dunno if they're really called that) pick up some dense foam or neoprene
take a look here:
http://wwww.vr-zone.com/?i=230&s=1
that should help u
thanks!
so i could just put neoprene o nthe back and use it as a backplate? and just use plexi and nuts to hold down the evap head?
i don't have the backplates or anthing its just the mach1 and nothing else so do i actually need any parts of the kits or can i do all of it myself?
Is there anyone that still sells the mounting kits?
yea people still sell them but they're liek $100.... so i'd really like to save that money if possible
u can do it all urself, everyone here who's made their own phase change units did it...so have confidence my friend :P
ew
*slaps mouth
i think those words are too mature for a 17 year old hehe
soo instead of having that plastic bracket in the front u think i could just put neoprene and dielecric grease instead ?
eh...
1/4" aluminum plate with socket holes and mach 1 hose cutout > mach 1 evaporator head > 1/2" neoprene around the cpu socket with dielectric grease under it ( dielectric grease on the board, cpu pins, etc) > 1/2" neoprene behind mb with dielectric grease > 1/4" aluminum plate with socket holes (tighten down with threads and hexnuts)
Or you can substitute the 1/4" aluminum with 1/4" acrylic.
thanks i understnad now
