;-)
How come you guys use that weird AOPen board instead of the more popular SHuttle/Gigabyte/Chaintech boards?
`s
maybe because Aopen are more open to feedback from OCZ and the oc'ing crowd ? From what corsair guys said, Shuttle hangs up the phone when Corsair mentions oc'ing with their Shuttle boards!
Shuttle does not hang up when we talk about overclocking to them.
Aopen has a working pci lock :-) Anyway its what tony has at home
hey, dont dis AOpen, they actually listen to customer feedback:exclamati
Well they wrote the bios for me im using on this board..only issue is no more vdimm and vcore although it will be better on the 250 version.
Im tempted to mod it although its pretty sweet as is..
how much better vdimm/vcore on Aopen NF3 250 ? :)
those benchies are pretty sweet, I might sell my PC4300 sticks for some of that good stuff.
tonys working on more from what he tells me
is the PC 3500 EB series limited edition ?
how does this OCZ stuff do @ 3.5vdimm??
if it does 270+ 2-2-2-6 i will buy a truckload :D
what kind of voltage is that at ?
It's way too slow ;) :D
Eb wont do CL 2 unfortunately
I have been running 3-2-2 @ 270 though
tonys at 2.85
what is it with you and really sh*t timings?
The only sh*t timing is 3-4-4-8 or higher IMO.Quote:

3-2-2 @ 270 with only 2.85 is pretty amazing.
It's more than amazing... that is some funky stuff.... maybe u shud keep shtum AceMaster :P
maybe I am under the impresion that those are good timings :toast:
Cas latency dont practically have any impact of memory preformance on 865/875 or A64 boards. The real setting that maters is RTC delay.
AcEmAsTr, maybe you want to read this article where the lack of performance impact of CAS latency was shown some, er, 3 years ago along with the dominant role of tRCD for performance.
http://www.lostcircuits.com/memory/ddr2/
I'd take a tRCD=2 part any time over a CL-2:4:4 part
are u sure the AK89 has a working PCI lock? it would seem to be the best ocin board then cept for the limitations on voltages =(Quote:

Very high fsb but bh-5 will get you a better sandra score.

Check the bottom of the page :D
I'm getting worried that I havent seen any 32bit AMD benchmarks with this ram.
