Going to do some tests with all the bh - x sticks I got here..
Tests will be done with following system
A64 3400+ using 10x multi
2-2-2-5 @ 3.4v
I will try to compare the sticks and see with which one I get the highest FSB at 3.4v

After I have slept I will look at OCZ BH 5 sticks :toast:
This should be interesting considering the Mushkins are the Specials and the last of the BH6 available from them.

perhaps you should try 2-2-2-6 as well.

This was the best I was able to gain with the kingston at 3.4v
highest speed I was able to gain with this speed and the ocz bh5 sticks @ 3.5v
any fsb higher then that I Get a "not exact in round" .. could be that i Have to pump more volts in the ram... The speed is gained with a unmodded mach II and still having the heatspreader on the cpu =)
OCZ have way better performance! w/ only 5MHz of more you gain 2sec!
But the OCZ at the same speed as the mushkin and you should have at least 1sec of less

How high do the BH 5-6 based sticks clock in amd rigs compared to intel canterwood rigs?
my ocz bh 5 can do 255fsb @ 2 2 2 5 etc with arround 3.33V and they are way better than the KHX 3200K2 or Level 2 mushkin i used to have...

EmineM, I was looking a your picture of the sticks, have you been using the OCZ ram to hammer nails?! They look pretty beat up!!
nono I just adore them so much therefore you have my fingerprints all over the heatspreader ^^

Cactus it`s the copper headspreader that look weird in different light combinations.
As the Mushkin BH-6 sticks came in at 256mhz I'd say that's pretty good, within 5mhz of the OCZ @ 3.4v
And the Kingston was only 1mhz behind the OCZ @ 3.4v
Any chance you've a friend that has some Mushkin BH-5 Lvl II sticks to try in the same board & chip set up?
They all did far beyond the rated speed, good products. And 3 other sticks from the same companys in the same set up could really easy reverse the order.
I've owned all 3 companys RAM + Corsairs as well, so no favorites here, just to limited a sampling to draw to much from it. Only conclusion I can see is that is one SWEET rig you have there man! Great O/C! :toast:
Thanks Craig :) Yea I know someone that has some Mushkin BH 5 But I dont know if he would lend it to me for testing purposes im sure they would perform similar or better then the OCZ BH 5 ... Kingston performed very well for its price... and the BH6 of mushkin are also good... good substitutes for the already run out BH 5..
Those mushkins good at 300FSB (3:2 divider) with aggressive timings @ what voltage?
300 FSB using 3:2 would give 200 Memory ... it does that at stock voltage and 2-2-2-5
Now, i'm just going by looks, but does anyone else think that the heatspreaders on all 3 brands of ram are all made by the same company, and then shipped on to Mushkin, OCZ and Kingston? they are all IDENTICLE except from colour/coating, exact same shape etc.

Besides, I wasn't kidding about having some Mushkin. 2 x 256 PC3500 Lvl II Black....curious how it might do on a AMD64!:D :toast: :D

On a Gigabyte k8N PRO the Level II`s will run a divider no problem and the best a guy on our forums tested his to was 245FSB 2-2-2-5 with onlt 3.2v. Sure it would have gone much further with more juice but he loves those babies too much to overvolt above 3.2v (seeing as you can`t find them for love or money these days).
