hard drive swap, windows to mint
i am running windows 10 atm, i have several hard drives i want to pull, and put into a system i am just getting running, linux mint.
i have data on those drives i am trying to leave and have access to on the mint system. family photos, videos, etc.
will linux need to change the format the drives are in to read the data? or are the files even readable by linux?
id rather not risk the data on the drives, so if i need to copy to linux after drives are reformated to something or similar?
hope i make sense here...
i cannot lose the data, will it be available to view on the linux system without messing up the partitions that i used and created in my windows machine.
so far all ive heard is it shouldnt be a problem, they should work etc...
id rather not risk on maybes. can anyone help answer this?
