wtf :toast:
what chips does it use?
Those M-Tec chips I assume? I have seen those run like 220-230 2-2-2 with that kinda voltage. But this is sick!
I think he means who needs bh-5 cause he wants to sell it as he said.Richbastard has a bh5 twinmos too which clocks very similar.
No...its M-Tek chips. I said it like "Who needs BH5, when you can have these" :D
And I'm now on the hunt for cheap TwinMOS 2700 with M-Tec-chips. :D
damn that is sweet. I really wonder though if you just got some good luck, or others will scale similarly. At least their prolly cheap enough to take that chance!
I have 2 256 sticks in my possesion....i can run 3dmark DC 1:1 242fsb 2,2,2,11.
So it wernt just the 1 stick...altho maybe i got lucky with 2 :D
...now wheres tictac with that higher vdimm bios
is that memtested?
pretty impressive if its clean!
So, the vdimm in bios is 2,9v, but what is the actual voltage? NF7 (which I assume you have) usually overvolts to 3-3,1v.
I wonder how they do with 3,2v+. If they like high voltage I won't even think about what they can do.
I cant afford a broken mobo from voltmod gone bad. So im just gonna have to wait and see what tictac can come up with

But can you check the vdimm with MBM or something?
Oh rite, yeh its 3.07v
But i mean the voltmod, i cant see what it does with higher voltages
Any chance of a close up piccy of the edge of one of the IC's on these modules..we have a theory but the close up should settle the discussion.
We need to see the little tiny dots that you see right on the edge of the package.
Thanks
I've got a Twinmos PC2700 256mb stick with mtec, and it sucks maxxes out at 182@2.9v loose timings Nf7-s.
M-Tek RAM Modules
Thats as close as i can get....sorry its a biz fuzzy, its dark here.
an mtec pc2100 stick of 512mb did fsb 187 here, loose timings :)
They look to be Winbond chips alright, maybe BH6's instead of BH5s though
Yeah, gotta be remarked Windond of some type.
Looks like winbond blanks to me ;)..We need to see and edge on high res piccy..the little tiny dots on the side of the black package are whats needed on view.Rest the module against something solid, if your cam has macro switch it on and rest the camera against something soild for the shot..so no hand shaking.
heh, looks like that thread title could be going out the window. :p:
its def remarked winbond memory.
Lol ... so true. Oh wel fantastic, these will be my benching sticks then :D
this guy got 233 with them: http://homepage1.nifty.com/kubokubo/...56mb/mtec.html
and here they seem to think these are BH-6: http://www.abxzone.com/forums/showthread/t-48713.html
nice PC2700 chips.
My Kingston 256MB PC3200 BH-5 are nice chips too.
They do 250Mhz 5/2/2/2 with 3.07v :D
255MHz with 3.15v
260MHz with 3.21v
265Mhz with 3.35v
270Mhz with 3.4v
