I been looking all over the web for a Gainward Ti200 vmod and since the gainward card dont follow the reference design, I am kinda stuck.
Has anyone here successfully vmodded a gainward ti200? or have any resources on it? (tried the search button already but to no avail)
Yeah , i need one too , for a XpertVision Ti200 , it doesn't have the SC1175 chips for regulators . Anyone ?
PS : APW7036 and APW7016 , those seem to be the regulators on this one , not sure though ...
DDTUNG might know. I have no idea really. Sorry guys. Where's the spec sheet?

Nevermind , i've discovered myself :toast:
DDTUNG told me where to get the data sheets for the IC's , i've downloaded them and done the vmods myself . Here's a brief description :
APW 7016 is the volt regulator for the GPU . You need to solder 2 resistors here :
- pin 1 is the overvolt protection pin , you need to put a 100 ohms resistor from here to ground ;
- pin 8 is the feedback pin of the error amplifier , put a 20k resistor from here to GND to get 1.75V instead of 1.5V .
APW 7036 is the dual volt regulator for the memory (it requires 3.3V and 2.5V) . Another 2 resistors on this one :
- pin 16 is the overvolt protection pin for the first voltage (2.5V) , soldering a 470 ohms resistor from here to GND gives you 2.85V instead of the 2.5V , because it also affects the feedback circuit (pin 15) ;
- pin 7 is the feedback pin of the error amplifier for the second voltage (3.3V) , you need to solder a 510 ohms resistor from here to GND to get 3.7V instead of 3.3V .

I guess the volt mod, you described above, would work for my card too.
BTW have you noticed some printing on the PCB stating something about an Overdrive setting? Take a look here and see if it looks familiar.
EDIT: I just found out, they are in fact the same!

Yes , Daytona and Xpertvision are both Palit , so it's basically the same card . I don't know what's the deal with the overvolt jumpers , this particular card had the markings and the traces on the PCB for them , but they were not soldered there .Quote:

The results were not that great , because the card already had a great oc without the vmods (175/400 to 250/544) and the memory cooling was not that good (stock HS) . I only got the GPU from 250 to 262 and the memory from 544 to 552 . I'm sure that with better cooling i could've achieved more . Damn, that's a helluva card you got there, mine won't go above 230/430 and that's not even stable. :(
Maybe I should gather up the courage and solder the jumper on there and give it a go.
I got myself another Xpertvision TI200 and it goes to 250/550 with no mods . Can't wait to put a good copper cooler on it :D .

but oces already good 175.250mhz / 400.545mhz.
About cooling HAHA i have a modified Thermal take Volcano 9 on my gpu about 38C on the bagside of the card!! FULL LOAD, i have pictures if you want to see!! :cool:

Do you possess some picture vmoda to Palit Daytona maybe ? On my card I have different volt regulators on Gainward and XpertVision . On card I have volt regulatora which only 8 pins. I have TL431C, IWR229C, this volt regulators is near memory.. Can someone help me to design vmoda ? To my card ? My English is bad :( Please help me ;] My Palit Daytona overclock to 281/595 but i want more :) Anyone can help me ?
