Defective DX79SR...anyone ever seen this before?

I'm building a system for a friend of mine and ordered a DX79SR for his build. I received it yesterday and immediately noticed a de-lacquered patch between Slots 1 and 3. I'll be exchanging the board, but has anyone seen this type of defect before? This type of minor defect isn't likely to affect the board or its operation, but I'd prefer not to take the chance.;)


Pic of the defect...it's just to the left of the chip inline with the slots.
