Hey all,

Definitely worth a look if you're planning on Z87 board.

I'm liking that Asrock Z87 oc forumula. I may end up giving asrock a shot for my next motherboard purchase.
Again, its too bad about that stupid 8x pci-e limit that Nvidia has for sli. 8x/4x/4x would work fine for GK104 tri-sli. I don't get why they don't drop that stupid limit. It would be nice to run tri-sli on a reasonably priced motherboard.
I like how these days we even get debug LEDs, onboard buttons and Realtek audio flagship chip and "waterproof" coating on low/midrange boards (ASRock Extreme4/6). Competition FTW.
Why does only one of them have thunderbolt? I thought it was supposed to me more standard with haswell.

Supposedly the ROG Formula is still happening (Hero + Tri-SLI I imagine) as well as an ROG mini-ITX board.

Sadly, there is no good low-profile fan yet ( /sandia cooler ) and neither decent ITX small chassis out there.
I think I may just have to purchase that Asus Gryphon mATX board. It will be perfect for the G5 PowerMac case I'm almost done doing a full ATX conversion on.
How does that "armour" benefit ASUS boards? It looks quite tacky and cheap if you asked me. So far I like Gigabyte's Z87 boards, though I can't believe how expensive the OC-Force and the G1.Sniper is priced.
