There have been some rumors of a GTX 660 SE (768 CC, 192-bit) coming in around Q1/April 2013. I wonder if this apparently MIA part has been internally replaced by this new GTX 650 Ti.

Both camps do it, 680 & 670 comes out then 7970 & 7950 ghz edition is released as a new sku.

As long as the price is right and the product competitive is all that matters.

Nvidia telegraphed they are releasing the 700 series next year with that conference they hosted. If it happens this year it will be in December (maybe last week of November) and most likely would be a paper launch.

Remember we only got the 2GB cards, so it's not $150-170, it's just $170 for now. Of course, as my conclusion said,

I know these are lower end cards, but even though it's stressful getting two NDA cards at once and both have ~3 days to review, it is FUN being on the front lines of this kind of battle. :)
