I bought these over on tiger direct and they were 65 shipped and figured I would try em out.
They do 2133 on my asus p67 mive with tight timings but I cant push them to 2400 becasue I dont think the cpu or my bios will let them clock that high.
these have the same ICs as the gskill 2400 kits.

If it's not 2x4GB with Hynix nobody will care much, unless they are looking for a cheaper alternative to the absolutely pointless GTX8.
Single sided is slower, on top of that...good PSC can pull CAS 8 at 2400 moderately easy.

they are not double sided unless they are VERY old batch.
as long as i know there are 2 types of Transcend Axeram 2400, the oldest one are double side PSC stuff (rated for 9-11-9), the newest one are single side Hynix crap (rated for 10-12-11).
Saw these on MemoryC a while back and considered buying a few sets. What kind of speed loss (32M) are we talking with single sided?
On AMD, D9s are slower on Deneb by 10-15s in 32M than Hyper at same speeds...D9 being single sided. IIRC.Quote:

So maybe 2-4 seconds on Intel. Pretty significant when you're pushing.
