My first build
I'm trying to assemble a gaming pc for the next 4-5 years. Could you give me an advice on what could be changed for better performance/price or I'm missing a piece or two for LCS (without knobs and tubes)? I'm aware that I'd have to upgrade (or add another) video card with time.
CASE____Corsair Obsidian 800D
CPU_____Intel CORE i7-2700k 3.5GHz
GPU_____PowerColor HD 6990 LCS Edition 4GB GDDR5
PSU_____Corsair CMPSU-1050HXEU 1.05KW
RAM_____Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 4x4GB 1600MHz
HDD_____WD Caviar Black 3.5" 2TB
BOARD___Asus P8P67 WS Revolution Rev.3.0, P67
FANS____From be-quiet.net

________Reservoir: XSPC Acrylic Dual 5.25” Reservoir for Laing DDC
________Waterblock: CPU Swiftech Apogee XT Extreme Performance
________Pump: Swiftech MCP35X 12V DC Pump
Sums up to about ~$3200 (most of the parts I have to buy localy and they cost a bit more than shipped from the US).
Thanks.

looks good but u may want to change the psu to a newer single rail one as the 1050 is the same price as the ax one that is around the same wattage. and for the pump u dont want a 35x, the rez u picked has a pump top built in so u dont need to spend the extra on the 35x u just need a ddc, so i would go with the koolance one since u get to keep your warranty when using a top and it comes with a pwm connector so u can run it off the cpu header or a 3 pin to molex connector.
if u were looking for more gpu power get 2x6970 that will oc better, and with the shortage of 6990 it might be more cost effective (but most likely not if u are doing FC blocks on them) and if u want to have more gpu overclocking is much better than quad fine so u would need more rad with atleast a single fan added on unless u are running beast fans and if so then get a black ice rad.
and with ram, do u need 16GB, 16GB will not clock as well and will be slower than 8GB so if this is for gaming and media and not workstation stuff i would get a 2x4GB kit.
