EK launches ultimate performance XTX series radiators!

EK ultimate performance radiators are designed for extreme enthusiasts. These radiators are optimized for maximum heat dissipation even at lowest fan speeds. Choosing EK-CoolStream RAD XTX will give your watercooling system an upper hand you need to cool your hot hardware.

EK assured quality level and an optimal price-performance ratio make these EK-CoolStream RAD XTX radiators unique. The new radiators feature, besides their great design and high build quality, superb cooling performance.
The copper fins are optimized for both high- as well as low-speed fans therefore the new XTX radiator is an excellent all-around performer. The parallel flow cooling chambers reduce flow resistance to a minimum. Radiator shrouds are tapped with M3 threads on both sides to enable push-pull fan installation.

Radiator features G1/4 threaded ports on both sides of the radiator which enables various installation possibilites as well as stacking option. Bleed/fill/drain port, soldered to the bottom chamber, allows user a better overall handling and makes item more convenient.

It will be intersting to see how these perform. The fpi is pretty similar to the out going EK XT range so I wonder what optimisations have been made. Probably just increased the frontal area and maybe length as well to give more surface area and squeeze in an extra row of tubes like the MCR series.

Lots of new products lately! Wonder if they will do these in 140mm variety as well.

These are 64mm thick. This factor alone should improve performance some.

Nice...double sided for more options...probably can use one of the top ports as a fill port as well...or for bleeding?

speaking of shroud testing:

skinnee: i had an idea, but i'm not sure what results to expect from it. i was planning on building a custom wooden shroud for my two HWL GTX240's and mounting 8 fans to the outsides of the shroud - the rad would be mounted in the center of the shroud, so i would have before and after shrouds. my idea was to add another "layer" to the shrouds so that i would be able to add an additional 8 fans. essentially i would have 8 fans (rather than the standard 4) in P/P PER GTX240 (16 total!!). i know stacking fans increases pressure, but what effect would this have on air flow/cooling capacity?

stacking fans only effective, when they turning in opposite directions - clockwise and counterclockwise (look at the propellers of Tu-95 e.g.). only fan I know turning in "wrong" direction is arctic cooling.
