I dont want to be ripping the side panel off my case every time i want to change the rpm of my motor for performance or silence, i see a lot out there that is for the ddc but what can i use for my d5?

Phatboy is using an Aquaero 5 to control his D5's.
You could use the 24v Koolance controllers

The 24V version won't do you much good unless you had a D5 strong. I'd suggest the above.
Thanks for the replies people, I have seen those suggestions but how would they connect to the 4pin molex connector that my pump has? (even though its only using 2 of the pins for black and red wires)
The Koolance controllers have an adapter that'll allow you to use either the smaller 3pin fan header OR a larger molex plug connector.
I missed taking the accessories picture, but you can see the adaptor/connector in the upper left here:
The smaller 3 pin female end plug into the controller and you would use the male molex plug to plug in your pump. There is just power 12V power and ground at work here, the RPM cable (If you had one), would not connect to the controller.
