Sound issue from rig

Recently I had a sudden power outage in my complex and finally when power was restored I had an issue with the volume from my PC. I have external speakers with a built in amp. I have the volume set to max but the volume is barely audible. Can anyone tell me if I need to replace my sound card and volume issue will be resolved? Did something fry on the sound card? I can still play songs from my pc it is just that the sound that comes out it not very loud.

have you tested the speakers? plug in an mp3 player and check if the speakers work first.

Yes, I have plugged in the speakers. They work fine. It is just that the volume coming out is very low (when I have it set to max). I have the Logitech LS21 speaker system.

The sound card that I have is the Auzen Xforte.
