M2.5 home made thumbnuts

I came up with an idea, to make thumbnuts from 10mm hexagonal rod. You can see results on the pic. Mounting GPU pots is a pleasure now :D

Looks very nice. I would assume you just turned them on a lathe, and then used the good ol' drill and some taps?

for not too expensive with those nuts you could tighten them with a torque wrench for even mounting...

Awesome idea, mind if I give that a shot? Next week I'll have some time with my lathe and if I take off the Chuck collet and put a 3 jaw on I think Hex bar shouldn't be a real issue.

Very cool, that beats the nuts some pots come with right off the bat.
Are the shoulders sized for springs?
