Vmods Radeon 9700 pro

Just waiting for my new Graphx, the gainward 4600 GS oc 390/798 have done its job for some time.

any link for volt-tweaking the new 9700 pro????

Until we get these cards in our hands...we won't be able to develop a volt mod. Doing our best to get our volt mod guru DDTUNG a 9700Pro to work his magic on:)

I managed to get a 9700 Pro and developed a set of Vmods which OPP should be testing as we speak.:D

As soon as they are fully tested, they will be released to team members through our Captain, MrIcee.

If you really want to fry your 9700 then solder a 10k VR between pin 3 of the SC1175 IC and ground. If you don't, join the Xtreme 3DMark Team and our captain MrIcee will soon give out the real Vmod information.:)

Can I get access to the vmod even though Im not a team member? :D

I hold Mr Icees position at Overclockers Australia as the Captain of that 3dmark team so for me to get the mods then I think we should amalgamate ourselves :p

I think OPP need some help in the top, I can give it a try. The Vapochill is mounted on the Radeon 9700 at -17 degree. the Prometeia cool the P4 2.80Ghz at 3.55Ghz at the IT7

My Radeon 9700 can go:

Default volt and cooling: 350/330

It makes a lot of heat, an get very hot.

Cooling with an old vapochill on GRU, heatsink on the ram: 400/360

Voltmodded 2.48 kohm:
436/360

Peak but not 100% stabil:
440/372


Conklusion: The cooling of the card is most importent. With god cooling the potential of the GRU are great.
