Lol... all machines hitting in one day! =)
Seems now all is well! :wtf: :shocked:
Yeah - I converted to new client and fixed my WU issues, it seems. Some WUs are getting me about 70k PPD per client and some around 110k. I think my steady state average is going to be about 1.5M PPD with the current points regime.
magnum - I have a small computing cluster that I use for research. When not running tests, I run F@H. I have 18 dual 6-core nodes.
BIG fat thumbs up mate :clap:
Ahh, at least for one brief update, I have the highest (F@H-wide) 24hr pts average other than Anonymous.
That's amazing :clap:
What research do you do?
Quit slacking angra :rofl::ROTF::ROTF::ROTF::ROTF:
I know - I'm getting beat by _anonymous_ of all people. sheesh.
Congrats on your production Angra:clap::eek: simply amazing.
I gave up on FAH a while back when the wu's were trying to start my cards on fire. would be nice to put a card on just to keep going, but I am having a difficult time finding a card I wish to purchase:ROTF:
I dedicate all my cpu cores to WCG; so for the time being; I will leave FAH to you guys. Keep up the great work:up:
How did you configure the v7 client to pretty much double your ppd output? client-type bigadv and max-packet-size big? Anything else?
yeah you need to use a passkey for getting the bonus credits ;)
It is amazing...Angra you and your company should get an award from F@H for that kind of contribution. You do us PROUD sir.
:up: :wtf: :up:
catwalks - sorry for confusion - that time I wrote that, "new client" meant the 6.34 that gets the A5 cores. I can't use the v7 right now because I require a proxy for my compute nodes to connect to the internet.
Ah, ok. That makes a bit more sense now. One day I hope to be able to build my own cluster similar to what you have there at work. I'd love a bunch of E7-8870's, I'm sure by the time I could afford a cluster that's as much as my house the hardware will have changed, but at the current time...mm mm good.
