I would like to replace my 2.66 quads for these 10 core monsters. The price is probably enormous.

Ten core Westmere CPUs in an 8P motherboard = 160 threads in one machine. I hope that wasn't too much excitement for him :(
I have a high end AMD chip. Six cores. It'll take 27 of them to equal the number of threads of an 8p/80c/160t machine. WOW :rofl: :ROTF: :rotf: :D :eek: :shocked:

Looking at the prices for at 3.33 6 core westmere on newegg @ $1700 a piece, would suspect these 10 core chips would be about $3000 a piece. Anyone know for sure?
I'm guessing that a full 8p/80c/160t system would leave little to no change from $50k :D
