do u think as for fun 990x this year or this result? Because the ebst result this year is think MADs 73xx MHz at Deneb :). But still awesome!
amd record is good..but cpu efficiency is not best..just like the celerons that can do 8ghz...its a good accomplishment but running other benchmarks its not that good.
but for benching with the best cpus and getting more results ...the i7 is the best i would say.
Please be affordable so I can make the change for DICE to L2N!
i was thinking 499 +/- 50$ LOL
id take one... :D
edit....
as long the sandy :banana::banana::banana::banana: isn't scaling with cold....i'll let the "others' play with it...
Honestly; I think UD9 did not pay off at all, because of the crazy pricetag, it was supposed to be the F1 car, but this card is likely to become what UD9 did not manage to be...
I am poking my local office about this product quite frequently...
the "oc touch" got me hooked... :D
Awesome looking board.
Plus the efficiency should be higher than of EVGA and ASUS, as usually.
lol Marc talking out of his arse again i c
I want... I want... I want... I want...
Very cool :banana::banana::banana::banana:.:cool:
I think you mean its nice to see a ud9-ish board at a lower price point, yeah...
But with 1366 gasping its last breaths it better be affordable :D
Sb-e platforms should be available to the elite within a couple of months, but until then its a nice board to play with. Then again, if Intel still can't get their chips to work under cold... and amd doesn't overtake gulfy... this might be a very long lasting board ...
good to see them improve their boards.
Good job team blue :D
Very cool. I cannot wait for this board to be released! Good to see the voltage read points on the board too.
voltage read points are almost a given and a must!, i once saw a review site say they are useless.... I almost crapped my pants. Anyways here you go from XBIT LABS saying voltage read points are stupid, they should replace their mobo reviewer on the GD65:
next paragraph down:Quote:
"MSI P67A-GD65 doesn't support any 'concealed' proprietary technologies that should be described, but there are two interesting areas on the PCB. Firstly, the V-Check Points which, by means of bundled connectors, allow users to monitor system voltages in real time — CPU core, memory modules, chipset, etc. Frankly speaking, we have never found much sense in doing that, but if you like it, here you are. Nearby are PWM controller LEDs which indicate the number of active CPU VRM phases that may be reduced dynamically in standby or under light load (Active Phase Switching). APS saves a bit of energy by optimizing PWM controller operation. By the way, illumination can be disabled in BIOS or proprietary utility."
Sorry to put this in here, but where is he coming from stupid read points, but serious OCers, like what.Quote:
"Another corner hosts power, reset and OC Genie buttons. We sort of looked down on the latter in previous reviews, because it obviously couldn't provide results a serious overclocker could achieve."
Back to the X58A-OC Those results are so impressive i love that board, i am in love again!
wprime at 6625MHz

whau, this is great! :)
Insane setup...:D
Hope to do the same and the retail X58A-oc and 990X...:p
Hicookie fantastic
Great
Nice HiCookie
I like orange :D
Awaiting 6500mhz vantage from the monster cookie!
Wow really nice guys!!!
OC Genie has become OC Touch :D
