Am sick of my MSI P67A-GD65 it killed one of my Vertex2 SSD and now Ram slot one has died on me! Have had enough! The board works with ram in slot 2 and 4 but bus speed i cannot change!
Am interested in theses 3 boards!
Asus Maximus IV Extreme Intel P67
Gigabyte P67A-UD7 Intel P67
Asrock Fatal1ty Intel P67
Any ideas which one to get!
The UD7 seems to be doing very good, people hitting 5.7+ pretty easily if their chips will do it. Nice color scheme as well.
I would go with a Dlx or UD5, more than enough headroom... high end boards are insanely priced...
Does anyone know the best board for low VDroop!

I dont like the look of that board i prefer the asus maxium look in red!

I agree, UD7 looks and probably is awesome, but if I was upgrading I'd probably go after P67-UD5, you get less phases and less sata/usb ports though, but it isn't priced insanely high.
I can't stand the clips on dimm slots Asus utilizes since P55.
Cant comment on the other boards, but the only difference it seems between Asrock Delx6 and Fatality ..is the color scheme, and the lack of molex power conn for pci-ex slots on the fatality, also fatality has l33t gam3r pic on every uefi background :_ ..so for 30-40$ more, its not worth it imo.
I went with the xtreme6, high end board in a mid range price point.
Only UD7 will give you 16x bw in 2 slots, UD5 will not. Keep that in mind if you want to run SLI. Difference would probably be very minor however.
How does it do that? If it utilizes NF200 the link between PCIex and it works at 16x, but NF200 to the on-die controller is still only 8x then.
I'm probably wrong, that's how it works on mine.

NF200 doubles the BW to 16x by splitting the pcie lanes. Also all the pcie lanes from the processor are fed directly into the NF200 because ud7 has a secondary PCI-E bus for usb 3 and sata 6.

I'm really happy with my Asus P8P67 Deluxe , but you can get the pro or evo to save $$ once you get use to the BIOS it's cake.
I'm curious about this board, but at this time I didn't notice any review on it's OC ability vs other P67 boards. I would be maybe a good option for my as a folding rig. (100% full load 24hr/7)Quote:
