Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 2600K / Biostar TP67XE

Hi guys
2600k did a quick test of air-cooling
Super Pi is very fast. Sandy Bridge is a good cpu.
I will to continue the test after ln2.

TEST System

CPU: Intel Sandy Bridge 2600K
Mainboard: Biostar TP67XE
RAM: CORSAIR DDR3 4G PC3-16000 CL8 DOMINATOR GT
VGA: MSI R5770 Hawk / EVGA GT240
HDD: Samsung 1.5TB EcoGreen F2 HD154UI (SATA232M)
Power: Turbo-cool 1200W
Cooler: KOOLANCE VID-LN2
Case: CoolerMaster CL-001-KKN1-GP
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate K 64Bit

Im eyeing this board really hard for a cheap SB cruncher.

What are your thoughts on pwm/mosfet temperature and max stable 24/7 clocks for this board?

a very strong chip but hit the wall at 54x :D
anyway
54x100MHz is OK for everything what i want to play ..on air ;)

its on sale in Japan ,but no where to find one...

Too bad these chips aren't going faster yet because they do so well on air and chilled water...
Do you think its a mobo limitation or CPU?

its a cpu limitation..i tried four of them max is 54x and the lowest is 53x,and Ive tried on three boards

Maybe I'll be lucky with my incoming chip. :shrug:
If not I guess I'll have to go about binning a few... its nice they aren't as expensive as the 980x chips!

Max is 55x101. Not allowed on anymore
LN2 / air cooling, there is not much difference.:shakes:
