you can not use winflash, you ned to dos flash.
ATIFLASH -p -f 0 6870.rom
http://www.octeamdenmark.com/downloa...6870flash.html
you can take the 2 files here and overwrite with your own, then it would like to work
I use a old 3.5X ATIflash an edit this 2 fill ,to ATIFLASH ? an I can flash ;)
ATIflash/bios,Do not be in some folder ;)
you must swap the 2 fill, in addition to the org / or overwrite them
if the files are in a folder, you can not flash
Download the xfx6850bios, inside is also atiflash v3.83, use that for the bios mentioned above.

1.45v bios is ok,whit air cooling
It was 14c in my room this morning. I got to 1080/1190 with room at 18c and 1.35v before. I will give it a shot this weekend IF I get my new 980x/990x.
can you guys post a link for this unlocker utility? the official link was removed.
I don't have a link. I grabbed it before it was removed. There might be a link by someone else in that thread. I don't want to upset anyone or get someone in trouble but it is out there. The is no "official link" and it is not an official tool for AB or anything having to do with AB's creator or MSI.
use the bios ;)
i got all i need, just missing patience and colder temps.

Has anyone tried 1.45v on a HD 6870 yet?
