Meh. Area 51 and The Suffering don't launch. Windows 7/AMD 555 BE/ATI 4870 1 gig. Have to go to task manager and kill off the .exe, too

I tried the new link for The Suffering. As before my problem is not in installing the game, it's in running it. Sorry if I wasn't clear. After launch, nothing happens. Looking in the task manager under Processes, Suffering *32 is loaded, but idle with 5172k memory.

Again, Windows 7 Pro, AMD 555BE, 4 gig, Radeon 4870 1 gig and current drivers/patches across the board. Running the game in any of the compatibility modes gives the same result. UAC is turned off, running as admin doesn't work. Anyone have a clue how to get this game to run?

This list needs more War$ow (http://www.warsow.net/). This game has thousand times more hardcore movement than ut99 or ut3.

Typhoon 2001 is a very good Tempest remake, and it's free. Plays fine on Windows 7 64.

For the record, FarCry is not free.... to people outside the US.

Genesis AD is in open beta now! its a really fun free game from the same makers of Alliance of Valiant Arms. Kinda reminds me of Unreal Tournament, but more "real". The way the guns work reminds me more of Counter-Strike
