If you're going to rma it as a joke, see if you can also heat the pcb itsself up with a heatgun and warp it. So it makes a rather odd shape. Oh, and take off the ram chips first :D

AHHAHA, you could tape the stock heatsink on with scotch tape, like you just rap it around the card a couple times, over the agp pins and everything.

That's some pretty hardcore burning there man :)

Youd be surprised at what they will rma...... I pulled off a couple of ramchips off my 9700p and just glud it back and they sent me a new( refurb) card...... its worth the try....

Been there..... done that! Man, that is one nasty smell when you fry a chip and a TEC, isn't it? My house stunk for days after I fried mine.

Hey, just found a box that fits the card perfectly.

i would 100% scortch the bottom of the reatil hsk andsmash it back on their, i bet u 10 dollars they rma it.. i almost gaurantee!

If you can kill the fan you could say the fan failed and the video card died.
