The over-60Hz LCD thread.
I tried to find an existing thread somewhere that compiles a list of list of LCD monitors capable of proper (ie, doesn't skip frames) refresh rate support beyond the normal 60Hz. Even at 75Hz, the difference was big enough that I could notice my mouse cursor being a tad smoother, games felt smoother, plus I could run more games without VSYNC, and as long as the game ran under 75fps, I didn't see any tearing (I'm running a Dell 2209WA, BTW... see this awesome thread).
Of course, there are the 3D 120Hz monitors, but they are all currently TN models... which many of you, like me, are not so hot on. In any case, they'll be added to the confirmed list right off the bat.
Note that in order to be even put on the "unconfirmed" list, you need to confirm on your monitor's OSD that it is running at the specified increased framerate. To go into the confirmed list, you must confirm (with a pic... just use imageshack if you don't alway have a hosting service) the monitor doesn't skip frames at the increased refresh rate (make sure you have the appropriate exposure settings to capture the movement).
***FYI: Single-link DVI does not have enough bandwidth for 1920x1200@75Hz***
If you have an Nvidia card, you'll probably have to add the timing manually, using "CVT reduced blank" timing.
Here's an app that supposedly helps find skipped frames:

Please provide suggestions how to effectively use this tool for finding skipped frames if you know how, otherwise I find the easiest way to find skipped frames, if you have a good eye and a well controlled hand, is to draw circles continuously with a white cursor against a black background. Assuming you have good control of the mouse, you should see a fairly consistent gap between the cursor images in the circle. If not, the monitor is skipping frames (or, you fail at mousing).
