Phenom II 960T hidden cores can be unlocked, turning it into a hexa core

The Phenom II 960 X4 is nothing more than a Phenom II X6 with two cores disabled, these cores were disabled because of a stability issue or because of low yields :shrug:
but if you are luck enough you can unlocked without any issue,my new baby is very strong for X6 @ 4GHz+ on air (prime and game stable)

hows the 0420 bios? any changes on NB frequency?
i still using an early version, with no "F6 function" and im very limited on NB frequency ..

Nice to see AMD doing so well I always enjoyed AMD before Intel got it's act together, maybe one day I shall return to the dark side:D

Need a better Bios

yes ,they are doing a great job and the 1055T is cheap and very promissing ,and
all Mojos plays and enjoy AMD but our heart is blue for sure ;)

Hi mate

I dont understand your wprime screenshot. What clocks did you actually do that wprime at.....the time would indicate about 5.7GHz or 5.75GHz or so :)

there are plenty of wprime runs across platforms here you can see it doesnt do anything drastic...in fact some runs are equivalent in specs just lower clocks yet faster

im using an old bios version ,with poor hexa core support ,when i try to enable the P-State i loose perfomance...

so are you saying that you did 6555MHz 32M wprime with that CPU and that new bios will get the efficiency up with better hexa support......that time will be around 3.8 i presume :shocked: that would be a crazy crazy CPU indeed :up:
