Reference 5850 only have 4phz power set-up 2 6 + 6 pin plugs for the video cards . The Asus video card that i posted in the link is the only 5850 that has 7phz power set-up that why you need a 8 + 6 pin power plugs to power the video cards. A person has already posted a thread in here where he was having over heating trouble with the power area on the reference video card when he was trying to over volt the card something to think about .
