Back again, got a build for a guy on the other side of the island :) This is a build which will have no compromise!

More soon, got to assemble it first, unpacking took nearly an hour!! So much cling wrap (which is good)

Just got mine to day as well. Mine was packed just as well. The acrylic pieces are the feet to the case. These are nice cases. Good luck and have fun with the build. :)

ALL PARTS will be ordered earlier than expected, they'll be ordered this week and hopefully I'll have EVERYTHING required for this build no later than the 26th of April :) So expect some MAJOR updates soon.

Case has been together for a few days now, it's just been raining and crappy weather overall so I haven't had a chance to take any pictures until today! :)

Sorry about the background! I'm yet to find a good white backdrop which I can use for a FULL case. :(

Is that the whole case? or is there like a big mofo of a bottom compartment or something coming.
Damn basic design that you pay through the nose for ay.

Only trouble i had was a small scratch on the front panel,no worries though as im getting the case powdercoated soon.

Yeah, did you get that drive bay cover or did you use it from an older build?


@ Ono, yeah, it's the case, so simple and doesn't have heaps of "extra" crap. The case is ONLY $290US (Around $350AUD) and the Corsair Obsidian (which didn't have enough room) is $400 over here ;)

I got 3 drive bays covers incase i had to mod anything i put in the front,knowing me if i hadnt i would of need them :)
Cracking case the only thing my computer parts look lost inside :D

Bitspower order arrived, lots and lots of fittings! All I need now is one final order which has been cleared by customs and will be here Tuesday (Monday is a public holiday) so not long!!!

Now, this will be a PSU box which will fit nice and snug over the PSU, while allowing the PSU fan to suck in air and push it out. The box will also be great to put in the bitspower X Station, more in this later :)

Sorry for the long delay people! Changing from 2x5870's to a single 5970 takes time! :)

Did a bit of work today, which means I can take it to the powdercoaters on Monday and I should have it back to finish in 1-2 weeks.

So, I came across the situation of making a clean loop which is EASY to drain and refill, since my customer isn't "fully" knowledgeable when it comes to liquid cooling. Maintenance is something he'll have to do every 8 months (draining the loop) which I want to make as SIMPLE as possible. To have the best "drain" system it needs to be the LOWEST point in the loop, I managed to do this with a d-plug and pass through but I had to raise the pumps 2cm for it to fit, I searched and searched hardware stores but couldn't find anything. Luckily I though of these Hard Drive mounts which I found out to be EXACTLY 2cm, PERFECT!!! Drilled a few holes and WA LAH!

It's been such a long ride for myself and Jason, we've been waiting and waiting for parts, but now, it's done. I still have to fix one small issue, the pumps are as loud as hell, much louder than my D5's. I'm thinking it's because the pump's connected to the BitsPower pass through directly, which is drilled into the case. I'm going to have to remove that tomorrow and see how it works. The MountainMods Pinnacle is such an awesome case, it will last years and years to come, as you can see, the PSU cover I made is an option MM should have IMO, it makes the case look MUCH *MUCH* cleaner. Everything is accessible if you take the back side panel off (eg. the cables behind the PSU cover). Sadly, this beast will be shipped over east to Jason soon, going to be hard to wave that truck goodbye! haha. Its been an awesome ride and I've truly learned a LOT from this build.

Sorry for bumping an old post, but what color additive did you use? I love the tint.

Great looking build.. thinking about redoing my build from my MM EX Ascension to a 24.. the EX Ascension is just too big :)
