Corsair GTX1 @ 2666MHz CL9 on air

Firstly I want to thanks Corsair for the opportunity to test these beautiful binned beasts (PSC chips). I played 10 minutes with the memories, got some nice results and I thought to share them with you guys.

Test platform:

CPU: Core i7 870 (air cooling)
MB: ASUS Maximus III Formula
RAM: 2 x Corsair GTX1 on air
HDD: Samsung F3 500GB
PSU: Cooler Master Real Power PRO 1250W
VGA: HIS X1600PRO

Results:

• SUPERPI @ 2550MHz 9-11-9-27 1T @ 1.75v

At 2600MHz I also got over 21k Read Bandwidth and over 17k Write Bandwidth in Everest:

These are high latency RAM, so it ramains to be seen if it scales with IMC on cold :D

psc doesnt develop their own chips, they buy the design from micron or elpida etc... looks like these are def elpida hyper chips, but made by psc, so they are cheaper... psc seems to be doing a good job though! :D

how high can you get them with trcd8 or trcd9?
very nice numbers for air!

They are certainly not Elpida Hyper design because:

- they don't scale with higher voltage
- the chip package looks more like Samsung IC, not Elpida
- Elpida doesn't scale with higher tRCD than 9

From what I have tried 9-10-9 at 2400MHz is no go, 8-10-8 doesn't boot at 2300MHz. The comportament is very different from what chips I know, I will study more and post here my findings
