That's like saying "I have a secret and I am not going to tell you"......Where are the results?
Edit: Found one

Nice :D
I do 6 x 6Ghz Good cores without much problem ... I hope to see you guys teaching me how to OC :)

And another :)

Are you sure about that? :D http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=247007
And another, but this one got 4.4GHz - 4.7GHz :D

Looks like a fine chip, intel should have an upgrade trade in option, 965x for 980x for 300$ ? :p
yes for another 5 days.... anyhow I am sure that the 56xx series will have much fierce competition then this 980x
do what with what? boot, os, 3d all reviews don't show that sky high potential just normal expected potential, maybe on high vcore and ln2 or are you also on He now :D ?

Francois, I really ought to flame you badly, you owe me clean pants :D
maaaaaaaaaaaaan i saw a 4x socket system a couple of days ago Dave and my jaw dropped hard.........maybe i'll ask the guy to run some of your favourite benchmarks for me next time i see him .....
I cant wait to go: hey dave check this out lol
where are the 5.8Ghz 3D runs :( It would be a serious letdown for me after all the hype created if these only do 5.4Ghz 3D or so at ridicilous voltages (above 1.7Vcore) on LN2
It'll al up to the temps bro. If it takes low temp, it takes high clocks 3D. If not...not. Just like the good old times, and not like Nehalem :)
HWBot's review database is up. More reviews will be added when they are up.

Are there any plans on cheaper hex core CPUs?
It is annoying with reviews bragging about having one then saying have fun if you can afford it when they get test samples for free.
I will get one if there is one around the £250 and sell my 920, but I think that LGA1366 users are just getting screwed over again and this wont happen.
I will make a petition that from now on car magazines should buy the damn Ferrari they review :slapass:
Average Joe doesn't need 6/12 cores mate, you can game happily on an I5 or AMD CPU, even an I7 is overkill in fact. I would only buy this monster for benching, but it has to be at least 5.6Ghz 3D action warranted to cash out 1000 euro's... hopefully there will be reports soon of retail CPU's at them speeds...
Finally you get a bit better than box cooler for $1K :D
Leeghoofd - you are forgeting something bro. Average bro really does not need i7 or i7 32nm. And yes, benching is the main purpose for us. But for people in studios doing 3D Render and such, this performance / price / watt is a breath of fresh air. And be sure that there will be Xeons on the 31 with locked multi and so on :)
