It's the announcement of a possible announcement of Fermi's paper launch.
Yes its on there page.
Why would they relese 470 and 480 at the same time?Thats just dumb. They are too close to each other.
A big announcement doesn't have to be the official arrival of a card series...
a cancellation would also class as a pretty big announcement :p::p::p::p:
Given a few of nVidias press releases.... Huang could have wiped his a*** with his other hand and passed details to the PR department...and it would be a major announcement.

maybe HAF922 nVIDIA Edition :)
major announcement of GTX 260...285 re-branding :p
so when does nvidia own a thread and when ati or intel and all others must leave and stfu? :D
im trying to be interested in what nvidia will announce... but everything points to them not really having anything to announce that could possibly interest me so... im out of this thread, kthxbai :D
First of all, FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Secondly, it is not an nVidia thread. I wouldn't be surprised at all if does turn out that it is just a rebranded tweaked-out product; same as the rumor that ATI might be doing the same thing soon. But I understand where you come from, being that ATI has been owning nVidia the last two generations, and their prices are way lower than nVidia.
If they start selling Fermi on Monday for $400 I will be the first in line to buy one. If they announce that they're going to release it in late March and we don't see it for retail until August at $600-$800, I will laugh at any Nvidia fanboy that talks negatively about the competitor for the next decade.
Anyone seen this?
maybe they got 40nm GT200 working in almost complete form...
