No you aren't reading it right. It's saying it will use DMI v2.0 for X68 -> ICH11 link instead of DMI v1.0. It still uses QPI for CPU <-> IOH link.Quote:

Hum, I would have thought X68 destined for Sandybridge next year. What was the time line from P35 to X58 about a year and a half or so no?
Does anybody know that X68 will use the existing 1366 socket or based on a new one? Hopefully it will still use 1366.
