Prolonged use of nano fluid as a coolant.

Ok after about 6 months of using the clear color of nano fluid here is what my
insides look like.

I am giving away one of the 4770 video cards and am replacing them with a single 4890 i just got, and it will be air cooled til i get a water cooler for it.
I dont have the proper adapter for my MCW60 to fit the 4890:(

This is why i tore my system down.

Edit; I re-used the same fluid too.

What was that white looking stuff on the copper bottom and delrin top? Was there any more of it through out the components? It almost looks like paper towel fibers.

No not paper towel stuff, not really sure as i just snapped the pic, rinsed it under the sink and slapped it back together.

No signs of anything in the XSPC top or around the impeller of the pump. My tubing is the Tygon sliver so
i couldnt see how it looks.

I was thinking about getting one of these fluid xp nana stuff. But your pictures changed my mind.

Did you notice anything before you opened up the CPU block?

44$ . Made my day for sure when I just realized I saved about 43$ every refill.

If you drill out the pegs on he MCW60 hold down you can use it on the 4870. I did a bolt thru setup on mine since It left a hefty gap with the stand offs...

hmmmnnn... I don't see much build up - am I missing something?

BUT, until proven otherwise, I must step on the side of those who belive the XP "nano" stuff is BS / Marketing hype... (I have NO proof, just personal opinion)

No never noticed anything. It was and still is clean.
I am still using the same fluid i took out from the OP.

there is no such thing as a clear nanofluid...as I said in another thread, the only thing nano in that stuff is the dye pigment..:)

Makes my day when I send less than $1 to refill my loop. That means I spend about $2 a year redoing my loops.

Your happy about saving $43 aftr spending $44. I'm happy about spending $2 to start with. I don't get it.

To be honest, it looks fine to me.... just a quick rinse under a strong gush of water and the stuff should go away..... Even my primochill had more 'gunk' than that but it was washed off pretty quickly.

Unless it's like the horror of the feser blue which turned clear in 5 days, I wouldn't complain haha.
