Cheers. I was actually checking earlier if there is a way to see if TRIM is enabled or working. Apparently typing the below into cmd prmt will tell you if its enabled too.

fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify

DisableDeleteNotify = 1 (Windows TRIM commands are disabled)
DisableDeleteNotify = 0 (Windows TRIM commands are enabled)

Good to see they agree.

Both the program and the method above tell me TRIM is working. However I'm still on IDE mode from bios. That can't be right as you need AHCI? Win 7 build 7100 x64

I think this command says the system support trim. Mine says 0 and I got a 5400 rpm drive.

Indeed. It appears as though we can see if Windows is sending the TRIM commands but it looks like its difficult to confirm its working.

Apparently if you see HD activity after deleting a very large file it will indicate its working.

There's only one thing that it does that I wasn't able to quickly test myself, and that's if Windows sees a drive as an SSD or not. Everything else it does I could already check pretty quickly.

However to have it all neatly put together in that interface is very useful indeed! Handy little tool.
