Nice review and very detailed. Looks like the I7 920 edges it out by just a little at less voltage. I guess it will come down to how much the total cost is of the system that will really determine which is the best value.

this is the first cpu i tried
my phase it was make for ram testing so @ 4000GHz normal vcore was @ -23 Idle :rofl:

it has dozens of extra settings like a dfi bios but the settings sound like they actually make a diference :D heheh

you got it :D current and eventual Vcore and VTT is really usefull
We know some cpu don't like boot @ high vtt or vcore, here we can set for example 1.40 in boot up and 1.45 when windows loading,misuring with multimeter and it works great

Dual 8pin 12v will use when u wanna push to max your cpu in extremeclocking and gives you more stability :up:

Cinebench results are very interesting. A 6 second render difference? Over the course of a shortfilm, that could add up... but most probably outsource to a render farm or have a render farm for that stuff... I digress.

I seriously can't wait for more head to head comparisons. We need more data!!!

I know this is Xtreme Systems... but could you run them both through Cinebench @ stock with Turbo "ON" for the i5?
