Exactly what advice are you looking for?
^ Same as this guy. What is wrong that you need help with?
Nothing severe. up to 2.2 GHz at the most. Maybe 2.4 if he's REALLY feeling like living dangerously.
2.2 might be pushing it, shot for 2.0 for starters. Up the fsb to 200, up the vcore a tad, and see what happens. Just remember increase in small steps.
I got 2.4Ghz on my old 2100+. I forget what crazy voltage I used though.
He's got a 2500 Barton. Mine's been running @ 2.2 with stock voltage since 2003. Has a Silent Boost cooler on it but doesn't cool very well. I just used DDR400 and called it a day. Used to game on it. Has always been my everyday computer. Full of HDTV tuners now. :)
I had an xp2800 i ran at 2.4 for a while with the stock HSF and no TIM.
Had the K7N2 delta mobo.
It really liked 1T timings.
2 512 sticks.
thanks, guys. Got the whole thing sorted out, so thanks again for your advice.
