nice!
Killer deal for a sweet CPU. Still rocking it till my i7.
nice link...
All stores should have E0 stepping.
!
I have to pick up my car at the dealership tomorrow. I'll make it a point to stop at the microcenter near by
THANKS! :D
Edit: RATS! not available in cambridge :(
I picked mine up, E0 stepping, $180 out the door with taxes. Running at 400x8.5 right now on my TP35D2-A7 (Biostar)
for all those still looking in the cambridge area, they're available again!
Are you sure Aleki? I went there about a week ago, and they were all out. Did you happen to find out how many they had in stock? I might have to take a drive back into Boston. Sweet! :D
Ahh. Online it says there's 31 left. I hope that's not BS...
Nope, not BS. just picked one up yesterday ;)
Just reserve one online before you make your trip. These will probably fly off the shelves
PS: Batch number L846B715, so mine came out late november from the Malaysia plant. I'm willing to bet they're all the same
I'm having a hell of a time deciding on going for a AMD 790X mobo DDR2 with a 955 or 940 + UD4P, Oooor grabbing a P45 and going one of these. Someone is getting my current rig but I can't decide. What do you guys think. Either way I'm keeping my DDR2.
p.s. anyway to tell on box if its a E0?
Am2+ is still getting new cpu's,I think it will eventually be faster than 775 socket.:up:Also you should try to get ud5 ddr2 board.
Why? It's pretty much the same as the 790X board?
Were i3's going to work on 775 boards?

would this be OKAY with a Asus P5E X38 board? Microcenter is just 5 miles away from me and they have 30 of these.
Thats why they need to come to FL and make tigerdirect look like reTARDS.
They are still available :D
Thats a great deal on a nice CPU! Wish I had a microcenter near me... I'd but a lot from there I bet! :D
Microcenter still selling the 920's on the cheap?
Yes, except the online catalog says the price is only good through tomorrow(Aug. 9th).
