InjectTunnel - the new tool for ATI graphics card overclocking

I would like to share my new little app for overclocking ATI graphics cards. It is InjectTunnel. I developed it for safe overclocking. Besides, it can adjust a fan speed of the graphics card. InjectTunel dynamically reports the current GPU temperatures, MEM and GPU clock frequencies, GPU Voltage, PCI-E clock frequency and width. InjectTunnel applies new clocks for 3D full-screen mode or 3D window (desktop) mode.

Known issues:
1. 32-bit Windows operating systems are supported only;
2. Asian Windows versions may be not supported;
3. Old/IGP ATI graphics cards do not provide ATI Overdrive Interface.

I get no power management activity stuff apart from gpu1 temp

this on a reference 4870 512mb, also advert doesn't show up and i get a ',' is not a valid integer on start up =)

Nice work though. The interface is minimalistic but pleasing to the eye, looks very lightweight.

I prefer modded VGA BIOS over anything else. More reliable and works all the time, even if i reinstall my OS.

Nice, it looks very lightweight but unfortunately I run a 64bit OS (XP and Win 7) so I have to ask the question, are there are any plans to release a version for 64bit?

Yes, but how do you test your clocks before hand? There is no way you do 5mhz increases each flash.


This program looks good. 64-bit support and voltage adjustment would make it replace everything else I use.

Though, will the program still work for F@H on the GPU? So non- 3D programs, but needs OC'd.

By default only 5MHz can be applied, but in fact we can use 1MHz step. Check it! :)
I am examining technical documents on ATI PowerPlay interface. I would like to control performance states (set of GPU Clock and GPU Vddc combinations) of the graphics card. According to the screenshot in my first message, my Radeon 4670 is in the lowest performance state of 0 – 165MHz/0.9V. I would like to set the middle PState 1 – 300MHz/1.1V. This can be applied for 2D screen mode. I suppose we cannot achieve voltages with PowerPlay higher than defined in VideoBIOS, although I believe we can do that via GPIO or I2C.

That was just my first experiment as to graphics card programming. Of course, I have such plans.

I have not tested with dual-GPU’s. InjectTunnel uses ATI’s Overdrive interface to overclock GPU and MEM ;)

GeorgeStorm, the only document I have is the ATI Display Interface Library Specification. I doubt that it is available somewhere in the web. I am sorry, but that spec is distributed by AMD under NDA only.

I just replaced my 8800GTX for the 4770 and like it so far.
Its on par or a little better performance wise.
Plus its cheaper and uses less power:)

I will be getting another for CF soon so hurry up and get
the W7 64 bit up and running:p:

Make this thing report temps to G15 keyboards, and im getting it right away.
seems like a great piece of software.

Well I tried version 1.0.0.3 with Windows 7 64 bit, and it didn't work sadly with my 4830. I'll try with Vista 64 though too.

Ok here is what i get with W7 64 bit. I D/L,ed it then extracted it and this is
what it shows. What do i do next? I also put up GPU-z for reference.
