DO Stepping Xeons at the EGG

Is the w3520 any better clocker than the 920?
-
I wonder how well the W3540 overclocks with the higher multi.

I have read reports that the Classified does not like the W3520 on EVGA forums, but that might just be the user.

I have the non nf200 version and they just released a beta bios for Xeon Compatibility.

Are you gonna grab a w3520? I'll ask Shamino if the Classified bios will handle the Xeon.
I was just getting ready to buy the 920 DO off of ebay but this w3520 gets my attention ;)

I have both the 920 DO(45B027) and the W3520, both from tankguys. I also have the BR and my RMAed Classified(with NF200) will be on it's way soon.
-
That' w3520 has a QPI of 6.4, 920 has 4.8, Am I missing something here? I wonder if the QPI clocks better then.

Already did:) and according the EVGA forums the w3520 is now working with both versions of the classified.

Will this work with the bloodrage? Is there any benefit to get this over the 920 or vise versa?

That's not what Intel says.

I'd be all over one of these if it was true. :)
-
I doubt it would matter since you would be overclocking the chip which would negate the QPI being at 6.4 or 4.8.
-
Well if some one want to loan me $300 until next Tuesday (Wimpy) kekeke :D, I'll buy one and try it out.

From where?
Also, anyone have any idea if this works in either of the DFI X58 boards? Not just be unlocked, but have everything unlocked as the 920 does?

Ah. :D
Though, apparently Intel is giving him the run-around as far as when the CPU's are going to be delivered to him.

3 left, I got 1 of them... :D
-
I wonder if this has the same multi's as the 920?
