I have a Hardcano 13. I hate it. I had to RMA twice, and the thing quit on me again, but has come back. Batteries to maintain settings are AA, so, they don't last more than 3 months or so, and they are an absolute pain to change. Fan and temp leads are in the very back of the bay, so cable management is a nightmare. I see they seem to be gone on the Thermaltake site, so maybe they are acknowledged as a poor item.
If you want non auto, the best one I had was the Super Flower Fan Master. The Akasa Four Channel Fan Control Pro looks exactly like it, maybe a clone or they bought the company. Nice bling, good control.

Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme Is the best :)
I have a Lamptron FC-2. It has six channels with 45 watts per channel; right now I have it controlling 12 Scythe S-Flex F's. I chose it over the Zalman because the Zalman is only 7w/channel, and over the Sunbeam as I'd had bad luck with Sunbeams (and the sunbeam is only 35w/channel).
I modded mine up, installed it in a matched bezel for my machine and replaced the knobs.

Only thing is it has no display,? it be nice to have a display, but yes the sunbeam looks sparkly
Kaze Master - looks serious and stylish.
I,m thinking of going with one of the MM pinnacle tower cases.
So im going to need an All in one card reader and will probably use
my current Scythe fan controller or buy another as the MM,s
dont come with any type of USB or firewire or audio type panels.
The Pinnacle comes standard with a 3 bay 5/14 drive set-up so
a fan controller plus an AIO card reader with a single dvd drive
will be perfect.
Why bother - go for something more sophisticated T-balancer BigNG is more flexible (although I might try the new Koolance controller in my next built) and lots of people support the aquero
i have my YL 120H's on one of these Koolance fan power cables http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=23440
then connected to a single 3-pin on my Sunbeam Rheobus. 1 channel provides more than enough power for those 3 fans so i can turn them all down or up at once.
I've been debating the same issue for about 2 weeks now and I was thiking of getting the Scythe KAZE MASTER ACE, all I've heard are good reviews on this one
crystalfontz fan/lcd controller.
I have the kaze master and rhoebus. They both work extremely well.
I have two Kaze Master controllers and they seem to work well. One controls 3 SanAce 1011 fans, the other controls a set of Yate Loon low speed fans. I swapped to the Kaze controllers after my Sunbeam hated the SanAce fans under a certain RPM (fans would stop spinning, LED would go red).
the kaze can only power 12 watts per channel, the rheobus can power 20. the rheobus is $13 @ JT. the kaze is $30 @ JT
take your pick =)
Lamptron FC-3 is out now... I might have to get one of these
