Loop Order

i posted here a week ago and was advised that i'd have enough rad to cool my blocks, now just need some advice on loop order.
just to recap, what i am cooling at mo and how:
ek res> mcp355 with ek v2 top> 360 swifty res> 8800gtx> 240 rad> 6600 (b step) >

now i want to through a 295gtx in the loop (xfx bios for some reason never puts up the fan speed when gaming and it crashes, part from cod5 were it crashes anyways :mad:)

so i was wondering best loop set up, option 1:

res> pump> 240> 8800gtx> 295gtx> 360> cpu>

or option 2

res> pump> 240> 360> gpu's> cpu?

with option 1 i can use shut of valves more easily. there is also a drain line between pump and rad.

this is all house in a tj07, standard atx at the moment.

Either option will be fine. Just do whatever is easiest/most convienient.

sweet, just double checking, will the rads be able to handle the heat load from the 3 gpu core and old step 6600?

Simple answer - yes

Long answer - yes but the more load you put on the rads the higher your water temps will be compared to the air and consequently your CPU and GPU temps will go up as well.

yup, basically either order will work....but if your going for pure preformance and overclocking have it res>pump>360>CPU>240>GPU's

for the simple reason, the cool water from the 360 will go straight into the CPU providing marginally better temp's...and the heat dump from the GPU's wont go into the CPU......but as i said it would only be marginally better temps

sweet, cheers for that. is the pump good enough for all of this, im using cut off valves between the cpu block (fuzion v1) and i know they kill flow but not as bad as qdc.

are using 8800 as a phyx

yeah, phyx will actually come in handy for me. how many bitspower 90's can i get away in a system like this? looks like 2 will be needed on the gpus to return the hose back to the rads and both rads will 90's on them, but lookin at my 100 ek res i can see its almost startin to vortex so i should be ok?

90's, especially ones with smooth transitions, won't hurt you much within reason. Just try not to get crazy. ;) I've got 2 delrin 90's (hard turns) and TBH I can't tell the difference in flow/temps from when I had none.

trying to think if its worth geting a 480 rad or maybe try and squeeze in push/pull for the too rads in the bottem of the tj07

do u mean ur gunna replace the 120.3 and 120.2 with a 120.4??? if so then id say the preformance will be decreased............

as for a push pull setup...thats exactly what im doing in my V2000b, im sitting two PA 120.3's in the bottom and using 1 rad to feed the GPU and the other the CPU.....id seriously suggest putting in two loops, 1 with CPU 1 for the GPU, the temps will b better overall and better preformance from the CPU
