Me e7300 is a SLAPB, FPO 3835A223,
And like the masks, it doesnt clock that well, the best ive done are in my sig, and I was running at 1.32v at 3.6GHz,
However, that is now unstable, and so I am at stock,
The E7xxx series do not have their IHS soldered on, instead they are glued on. I found the batch, it's Q814A383, pack date 5/14/08, VID: 1.0875v.Quote:

What's the general consensus on max safe 24/7 voltage for these puppies?
My E7500 booted right up everything set to auto at 3.663, 11x333fsb. I haven't tried further yet but I think it should do ~4GHz easily with minimal volts.

Just popped mine in ( will verify the batch tomorrow ) , at the moment slowly burning her in ( still on a Zalman 8700 cooler ) Monday I will put the TRUE on it to see if it can do 4ghz under 1.3vcore... not a bad replacement for my E8500 at all... :up:

May be you can try some 4-4.2GHZ(to see how much voltage requiers), from what i hear R0 revizion could be much better in overclocking that MO for E7300, E7200. Please very much!:yepp:

At the moment testing 450FSB with 9 multi at 1.296Vcore ( 1.32 in bios ) under load, FSB Term is 1.20, PLL 1.5

Leeghoofd, you are really lucky with that chip, at the moment, I am running at 9.5 x 400 at 1.416v! (havent fine tuned)
To get 9x450 I have to use 1.5v!
Well I'm not stable yet mate... but it looks promising... will have to test FSB term voltages first as more isn't always better , too bad this giga mobo doesn't allow fine tuning of the GTl's
my M0 isnt that bad, been tweaking for days to get it stable, finally :up:

Anyway the thing is that in my coutry between E7300 and E7400 it's just a 5$ price difference so it's clear for me that i will buy an E7400 :up:
I've got my E7200 @ 4ghz (8.5 x 471) /with 1.41 vcore under load. No idea about batch being as I have no idea where the IHS is. Cooled by a Dtek Fuzion.
Just ordered my UD3P and will be using 2gig of Patriot PC28500 ram. Let you all know when I get it built, I'll probably need some help with the OC.
got an e7300 at my office at 4ghz with 1.48v.
I did a build for a Friend, E7400, EP43 DS3L, Gskill 2x2GB PC6400, HD 4850 512MB, Coolermaster 400w PSU amd Coolermaster Lite Case, WD 640GB Drive and Samsung DVD R/W. The E7400 was OEM and was fitted with a Coolermaster 752 Vortex.
OC to 3.5Ghzwhen the FSB was turned up to 333. All done on auto setings in BIOS.
So if you consider the new E8700 is the same 3.5Ghz at least $270+ and a E7400 at $120! Is the extra 3MB Cache the E8700 has over the 7400 worth the extra $150! The E8700 is 6MB Cache and the E7400 has 3MB!

Well as a student 25 years ago I worked on reasearch Cray X-MP/48 a mid way computer before the Cray 3. It had 4 CPUs and 64MB of RAM with 1GB of online Hard Disc Space. It could perform 4x55MIPS and cost around 25 Million Dollars. The running cost was around $2.5 Million as it used 700KW of power and it use to be cold by Liquid Freon Gas at 20bar pressure. I think the 128 bit data bus was cold using nitrogen! So it makes your water cooled or N2 PCs look like toys!
I now have greater CPU power sitting under my desk then that Cray had. So for you YOUNGER members out their think what CPU power you will have under your desk in 25 years time!
So remeber what the DoD pays for we get the benefits sooner or later!
