Rivatuner 2.21 Released

* 'Restore after suspended mode' option in low-level fan control tab is multi-GPU oriented now. Now the option affects all display adapters in the system instead of currently selected display adapter only.
* 'Allow separate 2D/3D clock frequency adjustment' option is no longer provided when enabling driver-level hardware overclocking. The option is now hidden to reduce the amount of false bugreports posted by the beginners trying to disable 2D/3D clock frequncy then claiming that the hardware stays at extremely low boot clocks. Power users can still control this option via AllowMaxPerf registry entry.
* Extended list of detectable supported FOURCC formats in 'IDirect3D9 HAL adapter formats' diagnostic report category.

I use everest to monitor my gpu load on my G15. RT2.20 works for me with the 8.12 so i see no reason to upgrade.

if i OC 4870X2 in vista with 2.20
the OC will bomb out and reset clocks/fans back to default when it finishes CPU test#1

i get the same with hd3850 (single) in vista, i have to disable overdrive in ccc for rivatuner to not cancel the oc (overdrive takes control and it resets the oc when in 2d mode)

by default it's not enabled unless you enabled it in the CCC.

it's always been enabled for me:confused: i have to click on the 'unlock button' and then un-tick the checkbox so it's disabled

launch ccc and it's there in the bottom of the 'graphics settings on the right (advanced view)

might be a bug in the driver for vantage then. Does it hold the clocks when you run other 3d apps?

weird. after I install RT and overclock it's disabled for me. Are you hitting the defaults button in RT? I manually set my clocks when switching between games and the desktop. I have RT set my clocks to 375/450 at boot up so powerplay doesn't mess things up.

i use manual oc with RT when gaming (or 3dmark). if i don't disable Overdrive prior to that, rt will hold the clocks until the card gets to 2d mode (exit game for example), when it sets it back to bios defaults.
if i disable overdrive rt will hold the oc even in 2d mode.

this happens with hd3850 and windows server 2008 standard x64 to be exact.

RivaTuner v2.22

Minor bugfixes:

* Fixed bug in LM63.dll plugin, causing empty graphs with no data to be displayed in hardware monitoring module and introduced during porting the plugin to multi-GPU architecture in version 2.20.
* Multifunction PCI devices are no longer scanned and no longer detected as multi-GPU devices.
* Fixed pipeline count detection code for NVIDIA G98 GPU family.

What's new:

* Added ForceWare 181.xx drivers family support.
* Updated databases for Detonator and ForceWare drivers. Added databases for ForceWare 180.87, 180.88 and 181.00.
* Updated bundled RivaTunerStatisticsServer v3.0.0 utility

Rivatuner does not OC both cores on 4870X2 cards properly in XP yet
it would be nice if they could fix it
i will have to flash to asus top bios as i just cant wait :rolleyes:

haven't used xp in sooo long. RT working great under vista though. Why are you still using XP on your desktop rig?
