Of course, it is air cooled with Coolermaster Hyper 212.
CPU is prime stable at 3.46-3.48 Ghz @ 1.5v
At 3.52 Ghz it won't boot into the windows. Max voltage for air is 1.5-1.52v.

Finally, KUMA has arrived.
It's about time AMD. Finally you have something to compete with the lousy core2duo.
Anyone know the Kuma prices?
drfedja, try spi at div 800 and 4-4-4-12 and oc it by htt to 3500 ;)
I will try SPI at 800 div, but with 4-5-4-12 timings ;)
My DFI LP DK 790FXB can push HTT up to 295 Mhz with Phenom 9950 BE. ;)
In the meantime see that 3DMark06 CPU score.... at 3.4 ghz with standard HTT, and memory at 1066 CL4.
I have some results for 7-zip 32-bit, ScienceMark 2.0 32-bit and world in conflict 800x600 lowest and 1280x1024 medium. GPU is nVidia XFX 9600GSO 384MB, 725/1755/2100.
Ive got one running at 3.38 with 1.45v! Still tweaking but seems like a decent chip! Anyone have suggestions on what levels of ACC these chips like?
I hit 3.4 with no ACC 1.44v. I don't ACC will help any on mine, I might give it a try later. It will vary on each chip tho.
:p: when he made that post the price was hvering around 80+. But deffinently a better buy now.
lol,i didnt see it was an old thread brought back from the dead...i paid 77 for mine
LOL, Ya, I didn't rea;ize at first either. I paid 77 as well.
It was a whopping $55 a couple of days ago
And I thought it was strange to see people hyping up kuma until I see the date. Oh
This chip is an awesome gaming chip. I cant believe the performance for the money. Great way to dabble in phenom clocking. Gonna try and do a super pi run at 3.5 today since its cold :)
Rock solid! Need water cooling again! Not bad for $63! http://content.glidesociety.com/imag...6-8c379fdd0335
I paid 59 from Amazon, put it into my Ubuntu machine, clocked it to 3Ghz easily. Fasted linux machine I've ever had. To bad linux is marginally useless :ROTF:
That's a nice background you got there. Where did you get it?
