Cooling a 9550 and 4870x2, triple+dual rad choices?

So I'm using the new Cooler Master ATCS 840 :D And I'm trying to figure out if getting a swiftech 360/240 vs feser vs thermochill rads of the equivalent size are really worth the extra cash? I plan to run a dual rad loop off a MCP655 (I can't seem to find good top recommendations, anyone have any?)

I heard the swiftech rads use some different kind of barbs? Or is that changed to use the standard fitting stuff that feser/thermochill use?

I plan to use 1/2" tubing with low/medium speed fans.

This is all supposed to cool an OCed 9550, a OCed 4870x2, NB (maybe).

The loop I was planning was...Swiftech Micro Res v2 -> MCP655 -> triple rad -> CPU -> double rad -> 4870x2 -> (NB maybe) -> res, does this loop sound good in theory? :confused:

The MCRs are a good budget option with about 10% less cooling efficiency and requiring fans about 10-20% faster, the PA/Feser rads are more experience but cool a bit better at the expense of being wider however they also have the benefit of working best with low speed fans.

Personally with your setup I think you'll find that either is a good choice as 5 fans for a Quad + GPU (+ NB) is usually enough :)

Would yate loons medium fans work fine with the swiftech rads?

Considering the Yate Loons are some of the best money's worth fans for rads then I'm pretty sure they'll do fine though you could do from some input from someone with a swiftech rad :)

Ultimately if you have the space in one of the rad locations for a dual-pass rad (PA/Feser) but not in the other you can always mix and match :)
